Digit Owls ("we", "our", or "us") built the Guess Their Number app. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our service.

• Google Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use your email solely for account identification.
• Display Name & Avatar: The name and avatar you choose within the app are stored and shown to other players.
• Player Code: A short code derived from your account ID used to add friends.
• Game Statistics: Wins, losses, and games played per game mode.
• Push Notification Token: A device token used to send you game invites and friend notifications. Stored securely in Firebase.

How We Use Your Information

• To enable multiplayer gameplay between you and other users
• To send push notifications for game invites and friend requests
• To display your profile and stats within the app
• To match you with random opponents

Data Storage

All data is stored securely using Google Firebase services (Firestore, Realtime Database). Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.

Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device settings. We request non-personalised ads by default where possible.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

Data Retention

Your account and game data are retained for as long as your account is active. Notifications are stored locally on your device and can be cleared at any time from within the app.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Deleting the app removes locally stored notification data from your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date on this page.
